Looking to bring your online training to the next level?
The online Respect in the Workplace training is supported by two Conversation Guides. The content of both Conversation Guides ties in with the concepts presented in the online training.
About the Conversation Guides
Senior Leader-to-Leader Guides
This guide provides senior leaders with a structured approach to discussing key concepts in preventing harassment and building a respectful workplace with their leadership teams. The guide is designed to increase mid-level leaders awareness and understanding of their role in creating respectful workplaces, and to give them an opportunity to practice assessing and responding to harassment and disrespectful behaviour.
The guide takes approximately an hour to cover and is divided into three sections:
- Assessing the situation
- Taking appropriate action
- Introducing the Leader-to-Employee Conversation Guide

Leader-to-Employee Guides
This guide provides leaders with a structured approach to reviewing the concepts covered in the online training and gives employees the opportunity to apply those concepts in the workplace.
The guide is divided into four modules. Each module takes approximately one hour, and is intended to help employees build skills for addressing disrespectful behaviour:
- What do we mean by respect?
- What is the impact of harassment?
- What is the cost of not speaking up?
- Taking action
