Accessibility Consulting

Federally regulated employers are required to prepare and publish an Accessibility Consulting Plan that includes:

  • How your organization is finding, removing and preventing barriers
  • Feedback processes that allow the organization to receive and respond to feedback about accessibility
  • Progress reports that explain how the organization is carrying out its accessibility plan

  • Understanding how the requirements of the Accessible Canada Act apply to your organization
  • Communication to employees, leaders, and unions
  • Consultation with employees with disabilities, disability-serving organizations, and senior leadership
  • Creating an Accessibility Plan and Accessibility Progress Reports
